The General
Assembly of Ohio Senate Honoring On behalf of the members of the Senate of the 126th General Assembly of Ohio, we are pleased to congratulate the SMAC junior high girls cross country team on winning the small school division of the Cincinnati All-City Junior High Cross Country Championship Meet. Each member of the SMAC junior high girls cross country team is an excellent young athlete, successfully combining personal ability and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship. Members Mackenzie Harrell, Dani Dailey, Kelsey Gault, Andrea Wolf, Megan Carter, Jenna Pilipovich, Lauren Paasch, Cassie Miller, Sami Dailey, Stephanie Niemiec, Danielle King, Natalie Torbeck, Kayla Walters, Chelsea Kuchik, Allison Weaver, and Jamie Naber have worked diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in their sport, and as a result, they won their division at this year's Cincinnati All-City Junior High Cross County Championship Meet. With athletic competition playing such an important role in the total education of our young people, we are pleased to pay tribute to Coach David Prenger. In leading his team to victory, he has not only helped each athlete to develop her talents to the fullest, but he has also instilled in each a valuable sense of determination, perseverance, and camaraderie. The maturity and experience the players have gained through their participation in sports will greatly aid them in meeting the challenges of the future. Thus, with sincere pleasure, we commend the SMAC junior high girls cross country team on its city championship and salute the players and coach as some of Ohio's finest citizens.
